On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, our school had the distinct honor of hosting a momentous occasion—the swearing-in ceremony for our new prefects for the 2024/2025 school year. This pivotal event was marked by a profound sense of purpose and anticipation, as the incoming prefects prepared to take on their new roles and responsibilities.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon. Rugumayo Edson, Youth MP for Western Uganda. Hon. Edson delivered a compelling speech filled with encouragement and valuable insights. He spoke to the young leaders about the significant role they will play in shaping the school community, emphasizing the importance of dedication, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence. His words served as a beacon of motivation, inspiring the prefects to embrace their leadership roles with enthusiasm and commitment.

Adding a spiritual dimension to the event, Father Anthony, a respected priest, provided a heartfelt message of encouragement. Father Anthony reminded the prefects that true leadership is a divine calling, and he urged them to seek guidance from God throughout their tenure. His prayers and blessings were a poignant reminder of the spiritual foundation that underpins effective leadership.

The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of the prefects’ parents, who came to witness this significant milestone in their children’s lives. Their support and pride were palpable as their young ones took the oath of office and assumed the mantle of leadership.

The swearing-in ceremony not only celebrated the start of a new leadership chapter but also underscored the values of service, responsibility, and faith. As our new prefects step into their roles, they carry with them the collective wisdom and encouragement of our distinguished guests and the unwavering support of their families.

We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of our prefects’ leadership throughout the year and are excited to see how they will contribute to the growth and development of our school community. Congratulations to all our new prefects—we are confident that you will rise to the occasion and lead with distinction.
